Since our founding nearly a year ago, Trans News Network has exposed how The New York Times' bigotry is directed from the very top, revealed Epstein's extensive network of anti-trans cronies, showed how Itch took away queer creators' livelihoods, shined a light on trans political prisoners, investigated the Catholic Church's draconian trans healthcare ban, showed how universities sold out to Trump, gave a reality check on trans gun rights and interviewed courageous activists. We've published in-depth histories of resistance, powerful reminders of our communities' survival in the face of genocide and much, much more.

We have embodied our commitment to journalism that is in-depth, hard-hitting and unrepentantly radical. We haven’t sugarcoated the real threats we face, but we’ve also debunked panics and emphasized how trans communities can organize and resist. We've done it all as a ground-breaking worker-run news org, supported by our readers.

Now, we need your support to keep doing it.

We're aiming for enough to keep the lights on and the journalism going. If we reach our goal we'll raise it to fund fellowships for particularly marginalized trans journalists, something desperately needed in this field.

Around 85% of our funds go directly to trans journalists. The remainder goes entirely to operating costs. We don't have corporate backing or a single founder raking in cash. Every one of us that takes a salary makes the same living wage of $28 an hour, and we make decisions collectively.

Anyone who donates $10 or more will get one of our lovely TNN stickers as a thank you from all of us.

Thanks to your generosity and support, we have already done so much in just a year. With your help, this will be just the beginning.

Solidarity,

Trans News Network
